Comparison
Relivv vs POV: Disposable Camera or Shared Album?
POV recreates the disposable camera: each guest gets a set number of shots, and the gallery can be revealed during the event or the next day. On iPhone it runs as an App Clip, so guests do not install the full app.
Relivv collects everything guests already have on their phones, including videos and photos taken earlier, and shows it live on a screen at the venue. They are different experiences rather than better and worse versions of the same thing.

Who each one is best for
POV is best for groups who want the playful disposable-camera feeling: a limited number of shots each, no retakes and a reveal later on. It is also a natural fit for very small gatherings, which it hosts free for up to 10 guests, and for people who want a printed photobook from the same service.
Relivv is the better fit when you want everything guests capture, including videos of the speeches and photos taken earlier in the day, shown live on a screen at the venue, and when the guest list is large: the price does not change with the number of guests.
Two different ideas of guest photos
POV is built around its own camera. Guests take pictures inside the app, each guest has a limited number of shots, and you cannot see the results straight away. That constraint is the point: people think before they shoot, and the reveal the next morning becomes part of the fun. If that is the atmosphere you want, a shared album will feel tame by comparison.
Relivv works the other way round. Guests share whatever is already on their phones, from any camera app, including videos and photos taken before they arrived. Uploads appear on the live wall within seconds, so the screen at the venue becomes part of the evening. There is no shot limit; the only limit is the number of uploads on your plan.
How the prices scale
POV’s price depends on how many guests you expect, from free for up to 10 people to tiered prices for 100 and 250 guests on personal events. A live slideshow and custom branding come with its business essentials package. Relivv charges per event, not per guest: the live wall is included on every plan, and the plans differ in the number of uploads, how long files are kept and the extra controls. For a big wedding with a modest number of uploads, a flat per-event price is usually easier to plan around; for a dinner with eight friends, POV’s free tier is hard to beat.
Getting guests to take part
Both avoid a full app download for guests. POV uses an App Clip on iPhone and a web page on Android; Relivv runs in the phone browser on both. In practice the biggest factor in how many photos you collect is how visible the QR code is, so whichever you choose, put it on every table and, with Relivv, on the live wall itself.
Setting up: step by step
POV
- Create an event in the POV app on iOS or Android, or in the web app for business events.
- Choose the guest count, which sets the price, and optionally add the business essentials package for custom branding and a live slideshow.
- Share the QR code; iPhone guests open an App Clip and Android guests a web page.
- Guests take photos with the POV camera until their shots run out; the gallery is revealed at the time you choose.
Relivv
- Create a free account and an event: name, date and event type.
- Download the QR code in high resolution and print it on table cards or a welcome sign, or share the link in a message.
- On the day, open the live wall link on a laptop or smart TV connected to the venue screen and switch to full screen.
- Guests scan the code and upload photos, videos or short text posts from the phone browser, with no app and no account.
- Afterwards, download individual files on any plan, or everything in one ZIP on Plus and Pro.
